purchase a marriage license from a county office in California.
At the wedding, Steve will sign the documents and file them
with the appropriate county after the ceremony.

If you purchase your license after the ceremony , we have
performed for you, we can NOT back date the license.
We will have to say a few words to
"re-marry" you on the date we actually sign the license.
It will be dated the day we actually sign the license.
There is a charge 75.00 if we have to meet you
after the wedding to sign paperwork.

Requirements for a San Diego Marriage License
Each person must appear in person and
present one form of valid photo identification
with proof of age.
To expedite the identification process,
it is recommended that both the bride and groom
bring a certified copy of their birth certificate.
You must be 18 years of age.
Or go through Juvenile Court prior to obtaining a license.
Their number is 858.694.4601 ,
they can give you the specific requirements
for couples under the age of 18.
If either party has been granted a divorce within 90 days of applying for a new marriage license,
a copy of the final divorce decree must be
presented at the time of issue.
A blood test is NOT required.
Your marriage license is effective immediately and
valid for 90 days anywhere within the state of California.
You will need one adult witness for your ceremony.

A Certified copy of your

through the county clerks office
about two weeks AFTER the license is filed by us
